Cold extracted extra virgin olive oil produced and bottled in Tuscany exclusively from Tuscan olives, cultivated in the protected geographical indication area “Montalbano”.

The farmers of the Cooperatives work in compliance with the production norms introduced by Tuscan PGI Specification and with the most strict rules of the Integrated Farming regulation. A few farmers of the Co-op joined the innovating Integrated Olive Growing Project, which is a practice aiming to develop enviromental care and alimentary safety reducing agricoltural chemicals and supervising every production step.

Available: filtered and unfiltered.

Filtered: it has a light green colour with golden notes. This extra virgin olive oil is obtained by a filtration process which removes suspended natural solids.
Unfiltered:
it has the typical intense green colour with golden notes of an unfiltered extra virgin olive oil. It preserves the real taste of a just pressed olive juice. During time natural sediment can settle at the bottom of the bottle.

Description

Well balanced extra virgin olive oil with pleasant bitter and spicy sensation. Its fruity aroma reminds to artichokes, almonds, other ripe fruits and green grass.

With its extremely low acidity and with its balanced fruity taste, is ideal for all types of cooking.

However it best expresses its distinct qualities when used raw on salads, vegetables and pulse soups roasted meat and on the traditional Tuscan “bruschetta”.

below 0,5% (Tuscan PGI Disciplinary limit 0,6%).

Storage instructions:

Store closed in a cool dry place away from heat source and direct sunlight. This is exclusively a natural product; at low temperatures precipitation may occur. The product gets clear again if exposed at room temperature.
